Sigi Shelley

Designer / Dressmaker

Sigi Shelley studied Fashion Design and Tailoring at the Institute of Antwerp and Costume Design for Theatre at The Antwerp Academy of Fine Arts, Belgium. She achieved a Double First Class Honours Degree in

Design and Dressmaking from the Industrial Institute of Ghent.

She has worked with a number of renowned designers and companies, including Kaat Tilley and Dries Van Noten, The Flemish Opera Company (Costume Design) and Ann Demeulemeester (Design Workshop).

As well as designing for a number of well established companies Sigrid has also worked in the areas of

Collection Management, Retail, Production, Pattern Making and Gradation. She moved to England in 1998 to establish the SIGI label.
